About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a full-time Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and dental implant procedures. The role contributes to patient comfort, safety, and education in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The assistant also supports treatment-area preparation, infection control, patient documentation, and office operations. Compensation is $26–$29 per hour, based on experience and certification. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant.
Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle surgical instruments precisely.
Self-starter mentality and excellent focus on patient safety and care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
Support patient comfort, monitor patient well-being, and provide pre- and post-operative care education.
Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions as directed.
Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed.
Collaborate with surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
