About The Position

Portneuf Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Surgical Critical Care Physician to join their well-established surgical team. This is a full-time Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon and Medical Directorship Opportunity within a multi-specialty group. The position is hospital-employed and offers the use of the DaVinci Surgical System. Portneuf Medical Center is the only Level II Trauma Center in the region, serving patients and communities throughout southeast Idaho. The hospital provides specialty support including Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist Services. This is an inpatient-only role with call not being in-house, requiring a 15-minute response time. The group consists of 6 surgeons and 3 APPs, utilizing Epic EMR. There are teaching opportunities available with medical students and FM Residents, contributing to an excellent work-life balance.
