Requirements

  • Ease with computer tools.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adapt to change easily.
  • Bilingual (French and English) because you need to communicate with English-speaking employees and suppliers across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with health care providers (hospitals, doctors' offices, and others) to coordinate patient appointments.
  • Plan and organize surgery days and assign appointments to patients.
  • Explain surgical consent forms and other documents clearly and accurately.
  • Inform and advise patients to the different types of lenses that are available for their surgery.
  • Explain the steps and schedule of post-operative care accurately, clearly and confidently, while demonstrating empathy.
  • Answer questions from surgeons, patients and staff about intraocular procedures.
  • Take payments.
