About The Position

This position is responsible for obtaining surgical pre-authorizations and/or surgical pre-determinations for surgical procedures, including injections and high-end radiology, for surgery providers in assigned locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of medical office experience, including prior authorization and experience with pre-determinations for surgical or high-end procedures.
• Above-average knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with insurance payors and submitting authorization requests.
