About The Position
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Scheduler. This role involves coordinating, registering, and scheduling appointments for patients, conducting patient pre-certification to ensure coverage, ensuring all required tests are completed prior to surgery, and scheduling necessary follow-up appointments. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, located at 6124 West Parker Road Plano, Texas 75093.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Nice To Haves
- Two Years of related experience in Healthcare environment (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Knowledge of Insurance Verificatin, Referrals and Pre-Certifications (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Surgery Scheduling experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced environment, working with multiple providers' schedules (PREFERRED)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, Register and Schedule appointments for patients according to availabiliy
- Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
- Ensure all required tests needed prior to surgery are done
- Schedule any necessary follow-up appointments
