Registers patients accurately and efficiently • Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces • Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas • Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters • Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) • Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO • Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members • Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms • Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines • On Call Team during week-long rotations • Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule • Responsible for selecting a region containing 4 Baptist Facilities and traveling to assignments within • Responsible for coaching team members and providing quality feedback to increase compliance and accuracy. Primary Location: Downtown - Howard Building

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
  • Ability to maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Ability to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
  • Ability to work on a rotating schedule
  • Ability to travel to assignments within a selected region containing 4 Baptist Facilities
