About The Position

Baptist Health is currently looking for a Chaplain Resident for our Spiritual Care department at Baptist Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity. The Chaplain Resident will provide Pastoral Care and Counseling, be an active treatment teams member, and assist with students and volunteers. Consecutive residency years is a fellowship with an increase in pay and a decrease in educational curriculum requirements or substituted by research.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Required
• Master’s in one of the related concentrations (or must have completed 24-36 hours of the program- masters level class in theological education)

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Ministry Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Pastoral Care and Counseling
• Be an active treatment team member
• Assist with students and volunteers
• Develop efficient follow-up support plans for patients
• Complying with the Standards and Objectives of the ACPE, Inc. and its BMC Residency Program Curriculum
• Rotating in-hospital on-call with fellow residents
