About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Chaplain Resident for its Spiritual Care department at Baptist Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity. The Chaplain Resident will provide Pastoral Care and Counseling, be an active member of treatment teams, and assist with students and volunteers. Consecutive residency years may lead to a fellowship with increased pay and reduced educational curriculum requirements or substituted by research.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Required
• Master’s in one of the related concentrations (or must have completed 24-36 hours of the program- masters level class in theological education)

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Ministry Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Pastoral Care and Counseling
• Be an active treatment team member
• Assist with students and volunteers
• Develop efficient follow-up support plans for patients
• Comply with the Standards and Objectives of the ACPE, Inc. and its BMC Residency Program Curriculum
• Rotating in-hospital on-call with fellow residents
