About The Position

The Surgeon General will work in Southern California Permanente Medical Group’s San Diego service area. The area includes a main medical center, about 25 satellite offices, and more than 1,100 physicians. Its integrated and collaborative environment emphasizes physician well-being, a cohesive workforce, and patient engagement in overall health. Educational and research opportunities are offered and supported, including residency programs, fellowships, and participation in clinical studies and trials.
