About The Position
As a Surge Merchandiser at Anderson Merchandisers, you will support retail clients by ensuring products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and available for purchase. The role involves working with store teams and traveling to different retail locations to complete merchandising tasks during peak periods, special projects, or urgent needs. You must have access to your own mobile device with a data plan to access assignments and communicate with the team. The position requires flexibility to travel to stores within an assigned area or region, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. You must be able to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds and communicate in English at a conversational level, both spoken and written, with customers and coworkers. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice. The rate of pay is $20.00. Benefits are subject to eligibility under company policy.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable access to a personal smartphone with a data plan for work-related tasks.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various store locations within a designated region.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Conversational proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate with customers and/or coworkers in real time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Stock, organize, and display merchandise in assigned retail stores according to company and client guidelines.
- Communicate with store personnel and supervisors to keep displays in prime condition.
- Complete store visits and projects on time and report results using the company’s mobile app.
- Assist with setting up and executing promotional and seasonal displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Anderson Merchandisers professionally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or display issues with store management.
- Travel to multiple store locations as assigned within a specific area or region.
