About The Position
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a SPIR Coordinator to support HM&E testing in Jacksonville, FL. This role provides Administrative support services to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms, specializing in System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) Coordination support for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) OR JIRA, R-Supply, One Touch, NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
- 2 years of experience in the utilization of tracking spreadsheets and databases.
- Specialize in Quality Assurance
- Active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide Administrative support services to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms.
- Specialize in System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) Coordination support for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
- Accurately Input handwritten SPIR reports into the approved NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool
- Continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database
- Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer
- Utilization of SPIR Tracking Sheets and Databases to meet SURFMEPP product value stream by working closely with: Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Modernization Coordination Office, TYCOMM, SURFMEPP Community / NAVSEA, AMS1
