About The Position

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a SPIR Coordinator to support HM&E testing in Jacksonville, FL. This role provides administrative support services to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms, specializing in System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) Coordination support for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities. The coordinator will accurately input handwritten SPIR reports into the approved NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool, continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database, and provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer. This position requires utilization of SPIR Tracking Sheets and Databases to meet SURFMEPP product value stream by working closely with the Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Modernization Coordination Office, TYCOMM, SURFMEPP Community, and NAVSEA.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of experience providing System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) OR JIRA, R-Supply, One Touch, NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
2 years of experience in the utilization of tracking spreadsheets and databases.
Specialize in Quality Assurance
Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities
