About The Position
The Surface Mount Assembler A completes product assembly. This involves aligning parts, following work instructions, and checking that work meets quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility
- Experience with Soldering
- Experience with Rework
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Perform work instructions to complete product assembly and in accordance to standard work procedures
- Align components and other parts for assembly
- Receive parts and sub-assemblies in work area
- Deliver material to work in process work centers
- Complete pre-assembly work if required
- Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards and procedures
- Perform quality checks on assembly parts using written test specifications
- Produce and maintain a consistent quality of work while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
