About The Position

This role provides direct administrative and clinical supervision for master’s level clinicians, case managers, peer support specialists, and community health workers. The supervisor will observe treatment sessions, provide constructive feedback, and ensure accurate and timely documentation. Monthly comprehensive reports are required, including file reviews and direct observation of clinicians. The position requires knowledge of regulations, board requirements, and laws governing mental health services, including peer services, skills training, current OAR's, addiction services, ethics, confidentiality, and privacy. Responsibilities include reviewing and signing staff clinical assessments and service plans, providing timely and accurate reports on program and staff performance measures, and maintaining a small caseload as appropriate. The role also involves providing monthly group and individual supervision, developing and leading an effective team of QMHAs and/or Peers, and building relationships with community partners and stakeholders. The ability to multitask, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure is essential. All work must be performed in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Completed 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a behavioral health, mental health, and/or alcohol & drug counseling setting.
  • Hold an Oregon QMHP certification and able to obtain a clinical license within 2 years of hire.
  • Must become DLA certified within 1 year of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Tuberculosis screening.
  • Successful completion of background check.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5 years supervisory experience in behavioral health
  • Current Oregon clinical license (LCSW, Oregon LCP, LMFT)

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative, clinical supervision for master’s level clinicians, case managers, peer support specialists and community health workers.
  • Observe treatment including individual and group and give constructive feedback to improve their ability to provide treatment as well as assure accurate and timely completion of required documentation.
  • Write comprehensive reports each month to include file review, face time with each clinician, and the treatment observed.
  • Review and sign staff clinical assessments and service plans.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on program and staff performance measures.
  • Maintain a small case load as appropriate.
  • Provide at least 1-hour per month group supervision and 1-hour per month individual supervision with staff.
  • Ability to develop and lead an effective team of QMHAs and/or Peers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
