About The Position

UCP Oregon is seeking a Supported Living Specialist to assist adults with developmental disabilities in living independently in their own homes. This role involves helping clients make choices, learn new skills, and engage in community activities. Responsibilities may include assisting with household chores, personal care such as showering, and medication administration. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a current driver's license.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
• Must have at least two years of driving experience.
• Must have auto insurance.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a reference check.
• Must be able to pass a physical with a lifting test of 50lbs.
• Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the developmental disability field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities to live independently in their own houses and apartments.
• Help clients make their own choices.
• Help clients learn new skills.
• Help clients engage in fun activities in the community.
• Assist with chores.
• Provide assistance with personal care such as showering and medication administration.
• Build real relationships with clients through one-on-one interaction.
