About The Position

Join us as the SHIP Coordinator and play a vital role in enhancing supported housing for vulnerable adults across Lancaster and Preston. You will lead the delivery of the Supported Housing Improvement Programme (SHIP), improving quality and standards in short-term and transitional housing. Your work will directly impact the lives of those facing mental health challenges, substance misuse, rough sleeping, and learning disabilities, helping to create safer, more supportive communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team
• Develop and oversee the SHIP Delivery Plan
• Lead project meetings with a multi-disciplinary team
• Monitor service quality
• Develop policies
• Liaise with Housing Benefits
• Prepare reports for funders
• Build strong relationships with housing providers
• Coordinate training and networking events
• Contribute to risk management and programme evaluation
