About The Position
Delivering quality, specialized services in accordance to Supported Lifestyles’ mission, philosophy, agency and position standards Providing support to individuals through community integration, skill learning, and positive quality of life Providing assistance to individuals in service (e.g., behavioural and emotional support, data collection, implementation of behavioural support plans, etc.) Participating in community and recreational pursuits with individuals in service Medication administration and documentation Participating in the general upkeep of the group home
Requirements
- Experience working with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges
- Experience providing behavioural supports
- Experience providing personal care (e.g. assisting with bathing or toileting and personal hygiene)
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary education in a related field an asset (e.g., human services, social work, psychology etc.)
