About The Position
Primrose School of Carmel is hiring an entry-level, part-time afternoon Support Teacher to help provide nurturing care and support children’s learning and development. The role involves building trusted relationships with families and creating joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The shift is 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.

Responsibilities
- Support a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children.
- Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans provided by the school.
- Manage classroom behavior and help ensure a safe learning space.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
