About The Position

The Part-Time Youth Volleyball Program Support Staff is responsible for coordinating and supporting the Town's youth volleyball league at the Coomes Recreation Center. This position helps with the day-to-day operation of the league, including registration, scheduling, communication with participants and families, coordination of coaches and officials, game-day operations, and ensuring a safe, positive, and organized experience for youth participants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience participating in, coaching, officiating, or working with youth volleyball or other organized youth sports preferred.
• Previous experience working with children or youth recreation programs preferred.
• Any combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supporting the Town's youth volleyball league at the Coomes Recreation Center.
• Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the league.
• Managing registration processes.
• Handling scheduling for practices and games.
• Communicating with participants and their families.
• Coordinating coaches and officials.
• Overseeing game-day operations.
• Ensuring a safe, positive, and organized experience for youth participants.
