The Support Specialist is a back-up to the shift supervisor in fulfillment activities, managing personnel and projects when the supervisor is unavailable. This role involves assisting with line set-ups and 1st articles, participating in leading the Fulfillment Team to ensure Safety, Quality, and Productivity processes are followed, and assisting in Project Reconciliation in Nulogy. The position requires a committed focus and execution of Continuous Improvement objectives as determined by the Fulfillment Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Three years manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Ability to give work instructions to and train others
  • Excellent safety record
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals and percentages
  • Ability to follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Legible handwriting to record information and fill out forms
  • Ability to delegate responsibility when appropriate
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time deadlines
  • Ability to analyze problems (not just symptoms), propose reasonable solutions, make logical decisions, carry out decisions made and follow up with feedback where appropriate
  • Ability to identify and distinguish color

Responsibilities

  • Back-up to shift supervisor - fulfillment in activities regarding managing fulfillment personnel and projects when shift supervisor is unavailable.
  • Assist in Line Set-ups.
  • Assist in 1st Articles.
  • Participate in leading Fulfillment Team to ensure Safety, Quality and Productivity processes are followed.
  • Assist in Project Reconciliation in Nulogy.
  • Maintain committed focus and execution of Continuous Improvement objectives as determined by the Fulfillment Supervisor.
