About The Position
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Support Specialist to perform general cleaning tasks in assigned areas. This role ensures equipment is clean and ready for use by others, stocks supplies, and maintains appropriate inventory levels. The Support Specialist will interact with visitors and staff in a friendly, professional manner, contributing to a positive patient experience. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Relevant Work Experience
- Less than 1 year of experience
Responsibilities
- Cleans assigned areas including equipment according to established procedures.
- Removes soiled items and/or empties waste.
- Uses chemicals and supplies appropriately.
- Stocks assigned areas with appropriate levels of supplies.
- Notifies supervisor of any maintenance or inventory needs.
- Greets visitors cheerfully and offers assistance when needed.
- Interfaces with other staff in a friendly, professional manner.
