Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Must possess good communication, research, and writing skills.
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
  • Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
  • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.
  • Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis.
  • Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
  • The ability to work effectively with internal and external team members is necessary.
  • Problem solving skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • A basic understanding of general networking and computing architecture, application lifecycle management is desired.
  • Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Basic, or similar programming language and instrumentation specialty software is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry practice and regulations including GMPs, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and MHRA/FDA Data Integrity would be a plus.
  • Must possess ability to educate/communicate issues and techniques to individuals of various backgrounds and levels of understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality checks of scientific data.
  • Generate data tables for inclusion in scientific reports.
  • Review data summaries for accuracy and format.
  • Verify entry into computerized systems for accuracy of entry.
  • Generate and review ancillary information such as chromatography for inclusion in scientific reports.
  • Work with electronic publishing software to assist in the submission of scientific documents to regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in meeting reporting goals through open communication with project managers.
  • Provide support for computerized laboratory systems used in bioanalytical testing.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and provide counsel to Bioanalytical employees for software applications and laboratory systems.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials and training activities to enhance the level of user understanding and system usage.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and/or qualification testing on laboratory systems.
