About The Position
Behavioral Health Support – Behavioral Health Bring your passion to Texas Health So we are Better + Together! Work location: Texas Health Plano - 6110 West Parker Road, Plano, Texas 75093 (This position is for our outpatient clinic) Work hours: Fulltime; Evenings, Mon - Fri 3:30 pm – 11:00 pm Behavioral Health Highlights: · Multidisciplinary team in a diverse work environment · Collaborative work environment · Great team · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and a very engaged leadership team · Fast Paced, 48 bed inpatient Adult and Adolescent Behavioral Health Units
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Usage of basic office equipment (e.g. fax machines, copy machines, phones).
- Knowledge and understanding of various business applications software (e.g. Microsoft Word/Excel/SharePoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills to include telephone skills
- Exhibits a pleasant, professional, polished presence exhibiting the ability to troubleshoot utilizing critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a highly stressful and emotional environment, to include behavioral health patients
- Must be able to exhibit a high level of empathy with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and support people during life-changing events, while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills
