About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Support Services Manager for a regional role supporting outpatient therapy locations across Eastern North Carolina. This position involves leading and developing a team of Patient Service Coordinators and Support Services Supervisors, ensuring smooth front-end operations, and overseeing workflows for patient intake, insurance verification, collections, referrals, and patient satisfaction. The role also includes collaborating with Revenue Cycle Management to improve accuracy and reduce claim denials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in behavioral health or a medical office setting
  • Technically savvy, detail-oriented, sound decision-making, and excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Patient Service Coordinators and Support Services Supervisors.
  • Partner with Program Supervisors to ensure smooth, consistent front-end operations.
  • Oversee workflows, process standardization, and performance across patient intake, insurance verification, collections, referrals, and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to improve accuracy, reduce denials, and support clean claim submissions.
  • Travel to different outpatient clinics in Eastern, NC.
