About The Position

Responsible to maintain and issue uniforms to employees in accordance with established standards. This role involves managing uniform distribution, fitting staff, and addressing employee inquiries regarding uniforms, including issues related to returns, shoe orders, payroll deductions, and repairs. The position also supports general clerical duties, operates an automated uniform rail system, handles dry cleaning logistics, performs minor garment repairs, and assists with inventory control. Additionally, the clerk may help in the Coat Check to ensure guest items are secure and assist with Valet dispatch as needed. A key aspect of the role is maintaining awareness of property events to assist guests and keeping management informed of any issues.

Requirements

  • Must possess effective communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Issues uniforms to new hires, including processing new hire paperwork.
  • Fit and measure staff for uniforms.
  • Assist employees with questions, concerns, and/or issues regarding uniforms, responding in a timely manner.
  • Scans and loads clean uniforms to the automated uniform rail system.
  • Scans out dirty dry cleaning to designated cleaners and checks dirty laundry for damaged uniforms and difficult spots.
  • Repair loose buttons on all uniforms as needed, including minor repairs to garments.
  • Presses, steams and spot cleans uniforms as necessary.
  • Chip, affix alternate ID’s and employee name labels to uniforms for tracking purposes.
  • Assists in inventory control to ensure uniforms are available.
  • Assists in Coat Check to ensure that all coats and accessories checked-in by the guest remains safe and secure while in the possession of the Support Services Department.
  • Assists as Dispatch for Valet as needed.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of current and upcoming events on property in order to advise guests of same, whenever possible.
  • Keeps management informed of all issues and problems.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Creates an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
