About The Position

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialist is looking to bring on a temporary Support Services Attendant to join our The Orthopedic Surgery Center (TOSC). This assignment will last approximately 4 months. The Support Services Attendant will support our Ambulatory Surgery Center by stocking supplies and linens, placing linen and anesthesia orders, replenish Anesthesia Supplies when operating rooms are ready, check medication outdates, and check bathrooms throughout the day. The Support Services Attendant will also provide support to our Supply Chain and Facilities team as needed throughout the day. NWOS is closed on weekends, nights, and holidays. This is a temporary working 30 or 40 hours per week.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Knowledge of shipping and receiving generally practices protocols
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain specific software
Organization and time management skills

Responsibilities

Contributes to surgery center survey readiness as it relates to the Support Services Department
Stocks supplies in forward locations such as Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Anesthesia workroom and Operating Rooms.
Place dirty linen bags in linen cart, stock clean linens, and place linen orders every weekday
Place Anesthesia workroom medication order as needed
Discover and track Anesthesia workroom medication outdates
Stock and maintain scrubs in locker rooms
Take out Operating Room garbage and clean restrooms as needed throughout the day
