About The Position

The Support Service Specialist I performs general maintenance, repairs, upkeep, and maintenance duties throughout the bank. The role maintains the grounds and interiors of IBC locations to provide a clean, orderly, and healthy environment. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Maintain a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to repair fixtures or systems using appropriate tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions, determine their causes, and identify a course of action.
• Ability to select and safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors year-round, in and around dust, fumes, and odors, and in high places.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, reach, and lift equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facilities and grounds inspections.
• Maintain bank vehicles.
• Perform basic upkeep, including changing water filters and batteries in doors and equipment, exchanging flags, pest control, and painting poles, curbs, and equipment.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance, including window washing, debris pickup, and exterior stain removal.
• Maintain the cleanliness of furniture and carpet.
• Maintain the upkeep and organization of the market warehouse.
• Collect and dispose of documents for shredding.
• Perform mailroom operations, including gathering and distributing mail.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
