About The Position

The Support Service Specialist I is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the bank. The role maintains the grounds and interiors of IBC locations to support a clean, orderly, and healthy environment. This is a full-time, in-office position in the Support Services department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Repair fixtures or systems using appropriate tools.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by determining their causes and the appropriate course of action.
• Select and use ladders, hand tools, and power tools in accordance with safety requirements.
• Work indoors and outdoors year-round; perform tasks involving stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment and tools; work around dust, fumes, and odors; and work in high places.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facilities and grounds inspections.
• Maintain bank vehicles.
• Perform basic upkeep, including changing water filters and batteries in doors and equipment, exchanging flags, pest control, and painting poles, curbs, and equipment.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance, including window washing, debris pickup, and exterior stain removal.
• Maintain the cleanliness of furniture and carpet.
• Maintain the upkeep and organization of the market warehouse.
• Collect and dispose of documents for shredding.
• Perform mailroom operations, including gathering and distributing mail.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
