About The Position

Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is seeking a Support Service Account Manager / Support Service Advisor for its Kapolei, HI Freightliner of Hawaii location. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous Service Advisory experience preferred or one (1) year or more related experience in a repair facility.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Must be professional and safety-minded at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good listening skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with customers, initiating service write-ups for repairs.
  • Accurately record customer information and requests, preparing written estimates.
  • Schedule and plan shop work in coordination with the service foreman.
  • Communicate effectively with shop management.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve problems.
  • Keep the customer/driver informed about the status of repairs.
  • Open and close repair orders, enter additional work needed, and verify warranty coverage.
  • Assist in overseeing the accuracy of data entry on all repair orders.
  • Ensure accuracy of all data and codes entered into the system.
  • Collect purchase order information, warranty information, and/or customer payment.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment using good judgment.
  • Accept ownership of new and different requests, exploring value-added opportunities.
  • Develop and grow within the position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by business needs.
