Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking candidates to fill the position of F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Field Operations Sustainment Associate Manager. The Associate Manager for the F-35 SE Field Operations Sustainment organization will provide direct managerial oversight to a team of roughly 20 employees functioning in F-35 SE technical support roles at field sustainment operations worldwide. Managerial functions include daily engagement with employees based in US, European, or Asia-Pacific regions, carrying out annual performance reviews, daily/weekly overview and approval of employee timecard submittals, monitoring budget requirements, administrative actions for employees, planning and execution of staffing actions, hosting weekly employee engagement discussions, mentoring employees, participation in annualized billing estimate creation, validating funding paths for employee labor, travel, and site sustainment needs, liaising with LM Human Resources, carrying out recognition and disciplinary actions, reviewing and approving travel authorizations, and reviewing and confirming potential employee expenditures. Additionally, the candidate selected for this role will be expected to become familiarized with the full spectrum of the F-35 SE product line, current operational processes, and procedures for field operations sites. The candidate must be able and willing to adapt to the constantly changing operational characteristics of the F-35 SE Sustainment operation as program needs mature over time. This position may require travel up to 20% of the time.
