About The Position

The Equipment Support Manager provides strategic oversight and customer support for indoor equipment, owning the full lifecycle from evaluation and site planning through installation, daily operations, and long-term reliability. This role leads equipment support employees, manages equipment-related projects, and coordinates closely with the Darling sales team., DarPro Storage Solutions, 3rd Party Vendors, and customers, to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. A strong emphasis is placed on training, scheduling, multi-job coordination, attention to detail, and organizational excellence to reduce risk, improve uptime, and deliver exemplary customer experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in an office or corporate environment.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating projects or operational activities.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading employees.
  • 2+ years of technical troubleshooting or equipment support experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business technologies, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manages customer support and daily operations related to indoor equipment
  • Oversees the full lifecycle of indoor equipment, including ordering, installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Supervises and support equipment support employees and assign team members
  • Ensures accurate and timely review of equipment order submissions in our CRM
  • Coordinates with Sales Account Executives (SAEs) to support and review site surveys
  • Plans and manages installation schedules, crews, and resources across multiple concurrent jobs, as needed
  • Directs installation leads and ensure installations meet safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Manages installation expenses, review vendor statements, and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Develops and oversee vendor quality assurance and indoor equipment repair programs
  • Supports process improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned
