About The Position

Spectrum Montessori-Woodbury is seeking a Support Childcare Teacher to collaborate with teachers across classrooms and help create a positive, engaging learning environment that supports children’s holistic development. The role involves helping lead learning activities, monitoring children’s progress, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Pay starts at $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
12 Child Development Units, required by the State of California.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
