About The Position

The Operations Team Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by accurately and efficiently processing inbound truck deliveries and ensuring new merchandise is ready for the sales floor. The role also executes outbound merchandise activities, supports facilities maintenance, maintains back-of-house organization, and works with the merchandising team to place and sign products on the sales floor. This is an hourly, part-time position. The associate helps meet store objectives and daily priorities, follows operational procedures, supports inventory accuracy and store fulfillment, and contributes to a safe, clean, and positive store environment. The role includes assisting customers and teammates, particularly during peak traffic and coverage periods, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and to lift, carry, and move at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Unload truck deliveries; separate cartons by department; process merchandise; remove plastic; and hang items as needed to prepare products for the sales floor.
Follow operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity.
Apply sensor tags, process product transfers and damages, and complete RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
Assist with facilities processes, including lighting and recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
Replenish supplies, support store recovery efforts, and maintain cleanliness and daily operational standards.
Organize and properly store tools, supplies, excess stock, fixtures, and other equipment.
Use training tools and other resources, embrace feedback, and build knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events to support effective execution.
Warmly acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
