About The Position

The City of Pharr is hiring a full-time, on-site Support Analyst in Pharr, Texas. The role provides technical support to end-users of applications, desktop systems, computer hardware, and software. The Support Analyst identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves user issues; installs and tests computer systems and mobile devices; and supports cameras and laptops. The position also trains users on software applications and network-related procedures, helping improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Applicants must pass a thorough criminal background check because the position handles sensitive information.

Requirements

Knowledge of managing and monitoring local and wide area networks.
Knowledge of troubleshooting computer systems.
Knowledge of work order tracking computer systems.
Knowledge of network diagnostic tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage tasks and projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Customer-service orientation, a friendly attitude, and professional appearance when interacting with users.
Skill in effectively using job-related networking equipment.
