About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a Supply & Services Procurement Manager in Piscataway, NJ. As a Supply & Services Procurement Manager, you will serve as a strategic procurement and commercial partner to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Plant Operations teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the capital planning process to align sourcing strategies with business objectives. You will lead sourcing, negotiation, and execution of high-value capital equipment, industrial services, and infrastructure-related contracts. You will develop commercial agreements that maximize asset utilization, machine performance, operational uptime, and long-term value. You will negotiate and manage after-sales support agreements, maintenance contracts, performance guarantees, and service-level commitments. You will secure long-term spare parts availability, technical support provisions, and supplier accountability measures to minimize operational risk and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO). You will manage complex contractual negotiations involving risk allocation, indemnification clauses, liquidated damages, warranties, and supplier performance obligations. You will monitor supplier performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project execution. You will present commercial recommendations, sourcing strategies, and project updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Business Administration, Finance.
8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, capital sourcing, or heavy manufacturing project engineering.
Hands-on experience sourcing and negotiating capital equipment, industrial services, and complex supplier agreements.

Nice To Haves

Prior procurement or engineering leadership experience specifically within a highly automated manufacturing environment or complex industrial ecosystem.
Experience with procurement and contract lifecycle management tools such as SAP Ariba, Sigma, Ironclad, or similar platforms.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
