About The Position

Genentech is hiring a Supply Planning Lead for its Holly Springs, North Carolina site, a new $2 billion manufacturing facility focused on high-volume Drug Product manufacturing for cardiovascular, renal, and metabolism medicines. The facility is targeted for commercial launch in 2028 and uses advanced automation, robotics, digital tools, real-time data analytics, and streamlined processes. The Supply Planning Lead will lead the site supply planning organization, guide its Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) rhythm, and connect commercial demand, site execution, and global supply chain strategies. The role spans a start-up phase—building team capabilities, processes, frameworks, and master data—and a routine operations phase focused on execution, optimization, and talent development. During start-up, the role will establish the site S&OP/IBP process, define supply chain metrics, develop planning master data governance in SAP, lead the batch disposition and customer service team, and establish inventory management processes. In routine operations, the role will direct supply planning execution, customer order processing, production and purchasing integration, inventory and bottleneck management, policy compliance, and continuous improvement. The position directly manages and develops staff and oversees resource allocation and department operating budgets. The position is onsite in Holly Springs during traditional daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Travel is limited during commissioning and is expected to decrease to approximately 10% in routine operations. Relocation assistance is available. The expected salary range is $113,200–$210,200, with a discretionary annual bonus potentially available based on individual and company performance.
