About The Position

dormakaba is seeking a Supply Planner based in Indianapolis, IN. The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring mid- to long-term alignment between supply capabilities and demand plans by developing feasible production and procurement proposals. This role supports the execution of the site’s Master Production Schedule, drives planning data accuracy, and leads scenario-based planning to resolve material constraints and meet customer and business targets through the S&OP process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory control, or materials management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • Exposure to S&OP or Pre-SIOP processes
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certification (e.g., CPIM or CSCP)
  • SAP
  • Strong Analytic skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly Supply Review process and contribute to Pre-SIOP activities to ensure alignment between supply plans and business goals
  • Develop and maintain an accurate Master Production Schedule based on plant capacity and material availability
  • Identify constraints and create production or procurement proposals to address bottlenecks and mitigate risks
  • Run solution scenarios to adapt to demand changes, including subcontracting, workforce planning, and inventory adjustments
  • Maintain and optimize MRP planning parameters such as safety stock, safety time, and lot sizing rules
  • Analyze performance trends and drive improvements to supply plan execution
  • Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and production to reconcile plan vs. execution
  • Provide timely resolution of supply issues; enhanced cross-functional alignment
