About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to support procurement operations for equipment and materials used in PV, HV, and BESS power system construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project-specific supply plans that guide purchasing and inventory movement, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to project sites. The Supply Planner will manage a portfolio of projects within an operational region, serving as the primary procurement liaison to cross-functional project teams. This includes coordinating with engineering to finalize Bills of Materials (BOMs), aligning material delivery schedules with project timelines, and updating supply plans in response to design or site changes. The Supply Planner plays a critical role in translating engineering and scheduling inputs into actionable procurement strategies. This role is fully remote.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in materials management (procurement, planning, estimating, or similar) for utility-scale PV, BESS, and/or HV projects.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply planning roles, or an advanced academic degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, including report creation and supply plan management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in purchasing, supply chain planning, and project execution.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project meetings with engineering, project management, scheduling, and field teams; lead procurement-related discussions.
  • Coordinate with engineering to maintain a revision-controlled BOM and corresponding supply plan, including supplier, lead time, and cost data.
  • Manage updates to supply plans following engineering revisions; generate variance reports to communicate changes and impacts.
  • Create, review, and manage purchase requisitions in alignment with approved supply plans.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop dashboards that provide real-time visibility into purchasing status and delivery timelines.
  • Analyze engineering and schedule scenarios to recommend optimal procurement strategies balancing cost and delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support efficient and responsive procurement operations.
  • Review material usage data and make recommendations for inventory plans and inventory purchasing strategy.
