About The Position

The Supply Planner III will analyze forecasted demand and inventory to develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demands. The goal is to meet Client Care’s target of fill rate while minimizing total inventory cost. This role involves executing weekly plans optimally to minimize future gaps and maximize inventory turns, as well as analyzing and setting system parameters to optimize inventory and meet service level goals and minimize costs. The planner will also maintain and update ERP master data for planning parts at various plants and initiate Engineering Change requests based on material life cycle. Additionally, they will analyze and resolve product backlogs and fill rates daily, identify problem areas, and drive corrections. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as finished goods planning and factory operations is crucial to ensure sufficient capacities and materials. The role includes attending weekly calls with Europe and Asia-Pacific teams to sync on global supply-demand matching, publishing weekly factory forecasts, and communicating/bridging deltas and gaps. Identifying opportunities for system enhancement and working with stakeholders and IT for implementation are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills combined with business acumen to make operational decisions on the fly.
  • Effective collaboration and communication approach to influence peers and executive management.
  • Excellent knowledge and demonstrated expertise in supply chain management concepts: forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization.
  • Experience with ERP planning solutions such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years of forecasting, planning, purchasing, inventory or related experience.
  • Proven track record in delivering on operational KPI’s, while managing projects and initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certification preferred.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Experience in electronic product service supply chain a strong plus.
  • Experience with forward supply chain.

  • Attend weekly conference calls with Europe and Asia-Pacific teams to sync on supply-demand matching regionally and globally.
  • Publish weekly factory forecast, ensure deltas and gaps are clearly communicated and bridged.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancement and work with key business stakeholders and IT to implement continuous system improvements.
