The basic function of this position is, but not limited, to procurement, receipt, and management of raw materials, packaging supplies and various department supplies necessary to support the Barberton plant's 24-hour Teslin® production operation to manufacture Teslin® products, with some Silica materials procurement and management activities. This position is also expected to learn the Teslin Process sufficiently in order to communicate and support achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) related to Safety, Productivity, Quality, and Delivery. The incumbent will also serve on the Teslin On-Call Rotation. The incumbent will be expected to train on basic supervisory duties related to the safe and efficient operation of the department to cover for Supervisor emergency vacations or outage support, on a limited basis.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and without close supervision.
Ability to make decisions.
Experience with SAP, which is critical to setting up raw materials and supplies.
Strong personal computer skill level with Windows, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

SAP data entry
Teslin raw material inventory management and procurement
Packaging supply inventory management and procurement
Teslin packaging supply purchasing
Teslin railcar management and coordination with local railroads
Management and coordination of trucking for raw materials, packaging supplies, and other Department supplies
Weekly daily / weekly production updates
Monthly Raw Material Closing
Coordination of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste shipments for the department
Teslin empty container management
Develop and update SOP's related to the performance of procurement and management of raw materials and packaging supplies for the department.
Support Barberton EHSLT Committee and Subcommittees as requested
Support HOP process through interactions and Pre-Task Briefs
Serve on the Teslin On-Call Rotation.
Train on basic supervisory duties related to the safe and efficient operation of the department to cover for Supervisor emergency vacations or outage support, on a limited basis.
