Responsible for the Supply Network Planning process for finished goods.
Requirements
BS/BA in a Business discipline, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or Logistics
0-2 years of supply planning experience in a multi-product / multi-locations environment
Ability to communicate with Plants, Sales, Marketing and Product Managers
Critical thinking skills
Experience with Logility Planning software or comparable planning application
Advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
Action oriented with a strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and adapt
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Responsibilities
Create and document processes and maintain performance metrics.
Work with plants to establish and implement materials plans that optimize intercompany work in process planning.
Provide a network rollup plan by product group and category.
Develop tactical supply plans for all plants to cover the rolling 3 month time horizon that are valid and most cost effective for the business.
Achieve 95% customer fill rate, measured as lines on time and complete.
Resolve conflicts between businesses on shared assets when developing supply plans.
Scenario Planning (What ifs) - Execution of what-if analyses to support special projects (inventory management, expansions, end of life material impact, etc).
Must be able to financially understand alternatives when resolving issues.
Involved in projects related to product supply, long term capacity impacts, and product changes.
Hand off valid supply plans to scheduling team for execution; re-plan as necessary to ensure plans stay valid, and proactively communicate progress toward and changes to plans.
Actively participate in all steps of the Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning processes.
Interacting and engaging with other functional departments on topics ranging from Forecasting, Sales, Quality, New Products, Information Systems, Master Data, Inventory Control, Production, and Logistics to incorporate customer and business requirements into production planning.
