The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2-3 years of experience in any combination of: Supply Chain, Production Planning, Buyer/Planner or Manufacturing Operations roles.
  • Strong leadership and collaborative skills within a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); digital systems literacy is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must not be allergic to Penicillin, Cephalosporin, or related materials.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all planning activities impacting service levels are completed on time to avoid disruption to end customers.
  • Follow all regulatory quality procedures to maintain process compliance.
  • Collaborate and lead weekly planning meetings with cross-functional teams—Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Finance, and Quality—to ensure adherence to production plans.
  • Develop, implement, and control manufacturing line plans, verifying the availability of human resources, materials, machinery, and facilities in line with budgeted hours.
  • Create and manage weekly planning cycles to maintain target inventory levels using critical code analysis.
  • Perform monthly Master Production Scheduling (MPS) to forecast production needs, balancing customer requirements, service levels, inventory, capacity, and resources.
  • Monitor sales performance weekly, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing demand and sustain the correct finished goods inventories (DOS).
  • Monitor plan performance daily (PvP), adjusting plans as necessary to meet commitments.
  • Maintain and update production schedules and manufacturing systems to reflect accurate budgeted units.
  • Prepare capability presentations for Finished Products and subassemblies for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
  • Ensure timely component availability by coordinating with the Supply Planning and Quality team and make necessary adjustments for balanced production.
  • Prioritize and monitor finished product pipelines and perform critical code analyses as required.
  • Coordinate plan adjustments with the Network Planner and internal departments to address sudden customer demand changes.
  • Generate and analyze planning reports and keep leadership informed on status and deviations.
  • Continuously assess and manage capacity (short and long term) for labor, equipment, and facilities to meet production goals.
  • Participate in AOP and quarterly forecast adjustment activities.
  • Monitor service levels and lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve underlying issues.
  • Support regulatory projects such as FOC, stability, validations, and product transfers.
