About The Position

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary Full-Time Planner – Integrated Supply Chain for a project based role focused on developing capacity planning scenarios across our national supply chain network. The Integrated Supply Chain Planning Team strives to improve Canadian Blood Services’ approach to supply planning and inventory management across the supply chain, through the implementation of best practices, policies, programs, tools, and systems. This group functions as the central coordination team for ensuring that our products supply is balanced with expected demand and that supply and inventory impacts are considered, understood, and mitigated in alignment with organizational expectations for projects and programs that may impact supply. This role will perform the same core integrated supply chain planning activities, but with a primary focus on a defined project to create, assess, and model capacity planning scenarios across the network. The outcomes of this work will support decision-making related to current and future-state supply chain capacity, constraints, and trade-offs. In this role, you will be applying planning principles to a project environment rather than ongoing operational execution. You will leverage demand scenarios, historical performance, and operational assumptions to build scenarios that evaluate network capacity under various conditions.
