About The Position

The Supply Order Management department plays a critical role in executing the ALDO Group’s buying calendar by ensuring customer orders are translated into accurate, timely, and actionable purchase orders. The team manages the process from final order confirmation through purchase order approval, including contract creation, analytical reporting, purchase order release and acceptance, and issue resolution. The department also supports in-season business requests. As a key coordinator between suppliers and internal business partners, the team works closely with Supply Chain (such as the demand team, DFU and transport team), Sourcing, Buying, Product Development, and vendor partners to support smooth execution and reduce operational risk.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Create and confirm purchase orders accurately and on time to support release deadlines.
  • Use analytical reports to monitor release progress, communicate updates to team leads, and identify issues that could affect purchase order execution.
  • Own a designated portion of the release cycle, from contract creation through purchase order acceptance.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with internal teams in Montreal and overseas, as well as with suppliers, through email and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads and colleagues to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Manage in-season management requests including managing communication with buying team and sourcing team, executing revisions to POs and ensuring re-acceptance in vendor portal.
