About The Position

This role is for a Supply Officer interested in the mining sector and working in a multicultural, international organization that encourages learning and skills development. The position is based in the Oriental region.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of supplier order follow-up and lead time management.
  • Good understanding of procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in an operational environment.
  • Good command of English.

Responsibilities

  • Launch and monitor purchase requests and supplier orders in line with operational needs and existing contracts.
  • Verify order compliance (prices, quantities, delivery deadlines) and ensure proper update and follow-up within the ERP system.
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers, follow up on delays, and manage order modifications or cancellations.
  • Monitor supplier deliveries through to final on-site receipt and coordinate with the relevant internal teams.
  • Check the compliance of documents related to orders and deliveries (purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, etc.).
  • Follow up on goods receipt and handle issues related to shortages, damages, or non-conformities in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor stock levels (minimum, maximum, and safety stock), anticipate shortages, and initiate replenishment actions when necessary.
  • Contribute to the optimization of storage costs and the reliability of supply flows.
  • Update order and delivery tracking reports and monitor supplier performance indicators (on-time delivery, service level, claims, etc.).
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of procurement and inventory management processes.
