We’ve grown 2-3x each year since we started and raised $120M+ from top-tier investors including D1 Capital & Imaginary Ventures…and we’re only getting started. Our mission is to build the world’s leading platform for hourly workers and enterprises enabling flexibility, choice, and upward social mobility. Join a rocketship. This is a unique opportunity to join the ground floor of a rapidly scaling business that is changing the way hourly labor works and capturing a $2 trillion dollar opportunity in the US alone. Ownership + impact. Join a team that is challenging and supporting one another to build a great business and create flexibility, choice, and upward social mobility for workers everywhere. Captain your career path. Enjoy accelerated learning and growth working with a world-class team from top tech companies (e.g. Uber, Airbnb, Google, Amazon), business schools (e.g. HBS, GSB, Wharton), and professional services (e.g. Bain, BCG, Goldman). Become a world-class executor. We believe that #ExecutionIsBinary, and are dedicated to helping you master that skill for life here and beyond. Team Mission: The mission of the Supply team is to manage Shiftsmart’s partner (or worker) supply to ensure that we have enough high-quality partners to fill shifts for our customers. The Supply team is responsible for ensuring partners download the app, are prepared for their first shift, and have a positive onboarding and first shift experience. As we begin a nationwide expansion to thousands of new stores in a variety of markets, the Supply Growth Associate will be dedicated to solving one of our most pressing and complex challenges: building scalable partner acquisition strategies in isolated, rural markets where standard digital acquisition strategies are not as effective. This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to own a problem end-to-end. You will be responsible for identifying why acquisition is failing in specific markets, designing and testing new approaches, and building the playbook that scales. This role is based in New York City (HQ) with typically 3+ days per week in the office and ~20% travel required.

Requirements

  • Self Starter: You have 2-5+ years experience in fast-paced environments and are comfortable taking initiative and consistently delivering results. You don't wait to be told what to do - you identify the problem, build the plan, and get to work.
  • Creative Problem Solver: You think outside the box and thrive in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments. You're energized by challenges that don't have obvious answers and can turn scrappy insights from the field into actionable strategies.
  • Growth Mindset: You take true ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. You're excited to build something from scratch, iterate based on what you learn, and create systems that scale beyond your own effort.
  • Technical & Data-Driven: You use data to test hypotheses, run rapid experiments, and iterate quickly. You're proficient in Excel or Sheets, comfortable with SQL (or willing to learn), and leverage AI tools to work more efficiently.
  • Autonomous Operator: You're able to function with a high degree of independence — managing your own priorities, making judgment calls in the field, and knowing when to escalate vs. when to just solve it.

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring Partners in Challenging Markets: Identify, test, and scale new strategies to build partner supply in isolated and rural markets. You will be expected to think creatively and move quickly, testing unconventional approaches that go beyond our standard playbook.
  • Understanding the Local Landscape: Engage directly with partners and communities to understand how workers in these markets discover opportunities, what builds trust, and what drives them to show up. Your on-the-ground insights will directly shape our strategy.
  • Creative & Channel Strategy: Own how Shiftsmart shows up in these markets — from messaging and creative across existing digital channels to identifying and testing new ones such as local referral partners, job boards, community platforms, and in-store activation.
  • Building Scalable Programs: Design and launch programs that leverage local relationships, referrals, and community networks to turn word-of-mouth into a repeatable, scalable acquisition engine.
  • Analytics & Iteration: Track acquisition performance across target markets, identify what is and isn't working, and iterate quickly based on data.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage: We cover 100% of employee premiums for medical, dental, and vision care (60-75% for dependents)
  • 401(k) match program: We match 100% on the first 3% of your contributions and 50% on the next 2% for a maximum match of 4%
  • Generous, fully paid parental and family leave policies
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Collaborative office with fully stocked kitchen @ 1 World Trade in Manhattan
