About The Position

The Supply Coordinator supports the Dining Services department at Friends Homes by managing inventory and supply distribution across the West and Guilford locations. The role includes receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing food and supply orders; following FIFO procedures; delivering products to kitchens and other departments; maintaining clean, organized, pest-free stock areas; and assisting with kitchen preparation and equipment cleaning as needed. The position also involves safely handling products in refrigerators and freezers.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for long periods.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

• Prior stockroom, inventory, or food service experience.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inventory counts for the West and Guilford locations.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize food and supply orders.
• Ensure stock follows FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Deliver products to kitchens and other departments using carts or dollies.
• Keep stock areas clean, organized, and pest-free.
• Assist in the kitchen with prep work and cleaning equipment as needed.
• Safely handle products in refrigerators and freezers.
