About The Position

Science 37’s mission is to accelerate clinical research by enabling universal trial access for patients. Through our solutions; Direct-to- Patient Site and Patient Recruitment, we accelerate enrollment by expanding the reach of clinical trials to patients beyond the traditional site and rigorously qualifying patients prior to referring them to a traditional site. Our solutions are powered by a proprietary technology stack with in-house medical and operational experts that enhance quality through standardized workflows and best-in-class study orchestration. The Part Time- Supply Associate position is responsible for assisting with the management of clinical supplies and equipment used in clinical studies. The Supply Associate is responsible for preparing and shipping study supplies to study participants and study staff, maintenance and accountability of study supplies and nursing equipment, ordering of supplies, and inventory management. The Supply Associate works closely with the Supply team, PI, sub-Is and study team to ensure safe and efficient conduct of clinical studies.

Requirements

High school diploma required
At least 1 year of experience in a CRO, clinical research, pharmaceutical, medical, biotechnology industry and/or equivalent transferable skills, preferred.
Supply management experience strongly preferred
Medical and scientific knowledge preferred
Experience in a fast-moving environment and comfort with being flexible and adaptable as requirements change.
Ability to work independently – Demonstrates attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to switch between tasks as priorities change is critical. Problem solving skills and a willingness to learn are required.
Strong communication and presentation skills - Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive project team members and internal Science 37 relationships. Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Computer skills - Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Google applications. Able to generate business correspondence, create forms and generate reports as required. Willingness to gain expertise in the use of proprietary software.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, collaborate and provide expertise in support of clinical studies
Provide technical assistance with clinical studies
Implement study specific allocation and shipping logistics for clinical/nursing supplies
Prepare and ship study supplies and nursing equipment to study participants and study staff
Set up and manage protocols in the electronic supply inventory system, as required
Perform study and nursing supplies distribution activities
Responsible for the proper documentation of the supplies inventory including delivery, receipt, dispensation, return, lost, damaged, reconciliation, destruction and study close out.
Ensure Study Supply rooms and Nursing Supply room are clean, orderly, organized and presentable
Order clinical/nursing supplies as needed
Interact with clinical trial lab vendors and equipment providers to facilitate the procurement of lab kits and additional study supplies
Maintain proper functioning of equipment used in the Supply rooms
Participate in the orientation and training of new clinical operation staff and Supply managers or associates, as required.
