About The Position

The Supply Clerk is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in non-production areas, dispensing supplies to employees, managing inventory records, and performing laundry duties for various supplies. This role requires the ability to work independently and handle basic cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• Able to use cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc.
• Must have basic English skills in reading, writing and speaking to requisition and dispense supplies
• Must be able to work with limited supervision
• Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time on concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Cleans (sweeps, mops, dusts and empties trash cans) in non-production areas (hallways, bathrooms, employee lunch rooms, offices, etc.)
• Sweeps and mops hallway floors at the beginning of each shift
• Dispenses supplies (smocks, boots, earplugs, hair nets, steel gloves, etc.) to employees as needed
• Maintains records of all incoming/outgoing supplies and notifies foreperson/supervisor of supplies needed
• Using a washing machine, washes, dries and folds supplies such as smocks, gloves, coveralls.
• Performs other duties such as cleaning outside of building, helps stock incoming supplies, goes to the warehouse to pick up supplies, etc.
