About The Position

This position has been designated as safety sensitive and cannot be filled by a candidate who is a current user of medical marijuana. The Supply Clerk Supervisor inputs required operations data for daily activities in Central Stores; checks departmental requisitions for accuracy; assists manager with special projects, maintenance of stock inventories, processing backorders, training personnel on procedures for entering automated requisitions. Acts as supervisor in the absence of the manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
Drivers License - Arkansas Department of Motor Vehicles

Responsibilities

Audits department requisitions for appropriate signatures, account numbers, and ordering information.
Maintains authorized signature information and assists manager with maintenance of stock dictionaries, processing backorders, rotation counts of inventory, monitoring low usage and/or obsolete stock items and ensuring accuracy of completed orders prior to delivery to departments.
Trains hospital personnel on the automated inventory ordering system, accessing, keying, and editing automated requisitions and assists personnel with revising recurring requisitions.
In the absence of the manager, will act as supervisor and approve departmental payroll and will provide any required reports to the director on the managers behalf.
Consults with manager as to results and findings within various inventory reports and proactively seeks out opportunities to improve service.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
